Personal History
I could not find any information about Helen Rawlings other than one picture of Helen with writing that says Helen is Ara’s Sister, in my mother’s handwriting.
My mother (Betty Waggoner) told me Helen moved out east when she was a young woman and married out there and the family lost track of her.
My mother also said there was no room in Samuel’s gravesite for Helen to be buried with her father, and Helen and Ara fell out over the issue. So I can only believe that she was Ara’s sister and that we don’t know anything more about her.
