Personal History
James F. Howell was a 1953 graduate of Montmorenci HS and completed a bachelor’s degree in science in 1957, a master’s in 1959, and an EDS in 1966, all from Purdue University.
He taught mathematics for 27 years at high schools in the area. After retiring from teaching, he worked at H&R Block as a tax preparer and later as a line manager at Lafayette Auto Exchange and Indianapolis Car Exchange.
