Personal History
After Ruth’s death and before Albert married Ara, Norah ‘Nan’ Marsh looked after Jerry Waggoner while his dad Albert worked. She was very good to Jerry, made him pancakes, and let him have chickens on her small balcony or porch. She lived upstairs in a small apartment in Centralia. Later on, Grandpa ‘Will’ (William McClelland Waggoner) lived with Nan and Jerry. Jerry used to bring him peanuts in the shell because he liked them so much.
