Personal History
Ray graduated from the Univ. of Nebraska with a Liberal Arts degree and from the Univ. of Michigan in 1906 with a degree in Law.
He was employed in the Attorney General's office in Des Moines, Iowa for one year. He was employed for one year in Tacoma, WA. On May 5, 1913 he was appointed City Attorney of Great Falls, MT and served for two years. He was elected Mayor of Great Falls in 1921 and served one term. In 1928 he ran for District Judge.
Ray’s daughter Avis graduated from the University of Montana in 1932. She was living in Helena, Montana in 1990.
