Personal History

Bill’s first wife passed away early in life leaving him with four surviving children.

One son (William ‘Billy’ Wayne Hambrecht) and one brother (Howard Hambrecht) preceded Bill in death.

Bill is buried at Graceland Cemetery in Decatur Illinois in the Hambrecht plot beside his first wife Eloise (Brown) Hambrecht, his son William ‘Billy’ Wayne Hambrecht, and his second wife Wilma (Sinclair) (Roberson) Hambrecht.

He was a member Moose Lodge #684 in Decatur, Illinois

He was a member Masonic Lodge, Stephen Decatur #979

Bill and Wilma liked to take vacations and traveled all over.

Bill and Wilma liked to play bingo together.

Bill was a long time smoker, had emphysema

Bill died approx.. 4:20 a.m. at home after suffering a heart attack. He was dead on arrival at the hospital.
